The King James Version is a translation named after King James I of England who commissioned the new English Bible translation in A.D.       JULIE JOHNSON is a twenty-something Boston native suffering from an extreme case of Peter Pan Syndrome. When she's not writing, Julie can most often be found adding stamps to her passport, drinking too much coffee, striving to conquer her .   So where exactly did it fall short and why am I only giving it three stars? I don’t blame the book. It’s an honest-to-goodness classic ‘it’s not you book, it’s me’-scenario. I finished the book in just a day, which says a lot about how zippy the narrative was, but I guess I just probably wasn’t in the right mood for it that day.

Despite the age-old saying, individuals everywhere still have a hard time realizing that it’s not all about them. Robin Dreeke uses his research and years of work in the field of interpersonal relations and behavior to help readers focus on building relationships with others in “It’s Not All About Me: The Top Ten Techniques for Building Quick Rapport with Anyone”/5().   Subscribe now y’all it about to get turned up. No missing or damaged pages, no tears, possible very minimal creasing, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins/5(22).

The best thing about her book is its universality - it is stuffed with the kind of events with which almost every reader will identify - sometimes with a groan of horrified recognition.―The Lady Navigate the awkwardness of adult life with Miranda Hart's Is It Just Me?―Grazia Is Miranda /5().

I Thought It Was Just Me (But It Isn't) pushed me to examine my thoughts and my attitudes toward shame and blame and vulnerability and strength. I started the book thinking that I'd already done this work, so this would just be me learning more about the topic/5(K).

The book I chose is called Only One You, by Linda Kranz. I selected this book because it emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual learner. Additionally, the book contains one of my favorite lines: “There’s only one you in this great big world, make it a better place.” As an instructional leader, I realize that it is not enough to hope.

For a book called "it's not all about me," the author sure likes to talk about himself a lot. Some of the Its only me! book is worth keeping in mind, but this isn't enough to save the book. Unofruntately, the majority of the prose here is bad social science explanations and lots of boring personal anecdotes ("one time I had road rage but decided not to /5.

Since "Hello, It's Me" is being made into a TV movie, I decided to read that Its only me! book. It's a cute book and I was certainly rooting for the couple (though I found Annie unlikable at times).

It's a somewhat predictable love story and it makes a great quick, light summer read/5. But "It's Not About Me" hangs with the best of them. Don't let the big print or the easily read conversational tone fool you. This is a serious book about a weighty matter, and Lucado has done a wonderful job of covering the topic biblically.I would like to also comment one of 5/5(5).
